The hotel was perfect and spotlessly clean, its location was magnificent in the downtown area where you can reach many interesting places around by walks, excellent service. Everything was amazing and the staff was very amiable and supper friendly. Location: the property was just next door to the terminal for the trips on the rivers and lakes through the Telemark canal with locks, park for a large working van, close to the water/pier, fresh air and very good breakfast, and restaurants: )

Had a really amazing stay for a business trip, glad I've chosen it. I had a generous and free breakfast with great take out coffee, the food was good...

The room was quiet and offered a scenic view of the lake outside. the bed was very comfy, and the bathroom was well-equipped. the hotel is centrally located, just a short walk from the water, pier, and various leisure and shopping areas, as well as the terminal for river and lake trips on the beautiful Telemark canal.

Too little parking, you had to park about 500 m further in the harbor area .. Bad service at dinner .. Price-performance ratio in comparison poor

Ask for parking at the hotel first. Only few own hotel parking spaces. The first parking place costs 140 NOK/day. Behind the hotel with some walking distance then only 30 NOK.

the beds could be wider! In a double room, instead of a 160cm wide bed, there could also be a 180cm wide bed in the room.

Breakfast is great. There was a lot of choice, e.g. sausage, salmon, cheese, eggs, sausages, jam, muesli and fruit, as well as different kinds of fresh bread, coffee, tea and juice. Also the included dinner is ok.

Unfortunately there are only a few parking spaces directly at the hotel. But we were recommended a free parking place nearby where we could park our fully loaded car (we were passing through).

The staff at the hotel were friendly and provided a warm welcome. They had excellent local knowledge and were able to offer insights into the culture of the area. the hotel also had facilities for those with physical handicaps, catering to their specific needs. the breakfast buffet offered a delightful spread of food, including delicious coffee and waffles. the hotel's location provided a good view overlooking the harbor. the hotel exceeded expectations with its top-class service and amenities.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel along the river. The location was absolutely amazing, providing a picturesque view that added to the overall tranquil atmosphere. The service was excellent, with the staff being friendly and accommodating. The room amenities were top-notch, including air conditioning and tea and coffee facilities. I loved relaxing on the terrace with the comfortable garden furniture, enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The hotel also had a variety of facilities such as a dining restaurant and a bar/lounge area, providing great options for meals and drinks. The breakfast was delightful, with a wide selection of delicious items to choose from. The staff made me feel welcome and the Wi-Fi connection was reliable.

Spent Christmas at a hotel in a city with historical landmarks and lovely water views. Got a room with a river view which was amazing. Central location and easy access to restaurants and shops. An included breakfast was varied and plentiful. Staff always helpful and cheerful. Especially enjoyed the hot tub and sauna on the top floor. Great for unwinding after a long day.

The internet wasn't great, and the carpets could use a good cleaning. these are minor complaints and didn't detract from an overall positive experience.
